Common parts for this model

Before sourcing parts, confirm the body style (sedan, wagon, ute or van) and whether the car is a manual or a Hydra-Matic automatic, because the auto cars carry their own transmission, linkage, tailshaft and related driveline components that do not interchange with the manual set-up. The most sought-after items tend to be chrome and brightwork, grilles, tail-lights, badges, window and door seals, and rust-repair panels for the usual lower-body areas. Note that EK trim and detailing differ from both the earlier FB and the later EJ, so a number of pieces are EK-specific and cannot simply be swapped between those models. Reproduction availability is patchy: some seals, rubbers and emblems are remade, while other EK-only brightwork is scarce and often only found second-hand. Supplying the body style and manual-or-auto detail up front makes it far easier to match the correct part the first time.
